About the Opportunity
In partnership with the AWE, Amentum is working to deliver the Non-Nuclear Engineering Partnership (NNEP), a programme of works involving all aspects of the AWE’s built environment portfolio outside of the critical nuclear facilities AWE develops, owns and maintains.
To ensure a successful outcome for NNEP, we are recruiting for a Head of Project Delivery who will be responsible for ensuring the successful project delivery of one of our major programmes of works on the Framework. This is a critical programme to our client and to the Amentum business and as such requires an experienced professional to work with the Project Director to deliver on the associated expectations.
You will ensure the successful planning, management, execution and close out of all projects of varying complexity being delivered within the NNEP programme. You will balance the delivery objectives of the NNEP, removing blockers, managing risks, commercial elements, budgets and people, redeploying resources where necessary as priorities change. A critical role will be to develop strong and collaborative relationships with stakeholders to create mutual trust and drive the values and behaviours we have collaboratively developed in our Charter.
With a demonstrable understanding and experience of delivery across the programme, you will support the Executive Delivery Director and the Project Director by ensuring delivery of the vision and by coaching, mentoring and leading the project and programme management team in the execution of their scope.

* Track and report on project delivery milestones and project status to NNEP leadership and stakeholders.
* Identify and manage interdependencies across program workstreams.
* Support the development of the Project Management Community within the framework.
