Facilities Maintenance Engineer
Our client is a Facilities Maintenance company specializing in all aspects of building maintenance. We are currently looking to recruit a Multi Skilled Service and Maintenance Engineer, but you MUST be Mechanical Heating and Plumbing biased.
The role will cover the West of London and into Central London area. You will be working within an experienced maintenance team that can offer full technical support and further training. We would consider an experienced engineer from anywhere within the West London area including Hayes, Hounslow, Uxbridge, and Chiswick.
As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for all aspects of daily maintenance, including programmed planned maintenance and reactive maintenance. We are ideally looking for an engineer located within an hour of the head office in West London, but who is happy to travel to Farnham, Surrey for occasional visits for meetings and spare parts.
You will mainly be responsible for the service maintenance and repair of all building services. We are looking for an engineer that is described as multi skilled, with a Heating and Mechanical bias, who has the ability and experience to handle most maintenance issues. Experience dealing with LTHW systems, CWS booster pumps, and main communal plant rooms, as well as dealing with pressurization units, pressure vessels, and calorifiers, is essential.
My client has a track record for long-term service and promoting from within. They strive to keep their staff suitably trained and provide a safe and welcoming environment at all times. Training opportunities are regularly offered to supplement knowledge and experience.
The successful candidate will be required to work an 8-hour day from Monday to Friday, with typical start times on site ranging between 7 am and 8 am.
1. Salary ranging from £46,000 to £48,000 per annum dependent upon skills, qualifications, and experience
2. 1 week call out cover per month at £100 per week for standby and 1.5x rate door to door for attendances

Preferred Skills:
Experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, with Air Conditioning Fault Finding skills, and basic knowledge of HVAC BMS controls. We are also looking for an engineer who is happy to get involved with all basic electrical maintenance.
