Lateral Move vacancy - Housing Officer - East Voids & Lettings Team

Grade 4 - £33,366 - £40,476
Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review
Working 36.5 hours per week
This will be based in the East Void Team.
This is a great opportunity to join such a fabulous team within the Housing Management service.
The vacancy is based at Kings Road Depot and the successful candidate will be expected to work from the office to supervise the grades 2 and 3 staff. Flexible working will be considered if there is GR4 cover throughout the week.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage a team in terms of one-to-ones, giving direction, and dealing with sickness/ER issues as they arise.
2. Support the team in terms of going out on the area/patch; a driver is required.
3. Daily duties will include carrying out viewings of void properties, monitoring performance, monitoring repairs KPIs, and ensuring that properties are let end to end in a timely manner.
4. Manage a variety of queries including lock changes and clearing debts of meters.
Currently, the service is going through an exciting service redesign to create a customer-focused integrated service.
We are happy to consider a current grade 4 or a 5 officer at risk.
Full training will be given.
