Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)? A fantastic Mainstream Primary School in Reading is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP. This is a brilliant opportunity to work closely with children who have Autism, ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs), and other learning challenges.
The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant (Reading)
* Providing 1:1 and small group support to SEN students in the classroom
* Helping children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and Global Development Delay reach their full potential
* Assisting teachers in implementing tailored learning plans and classroom activities
* Supporting behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies
* Encouraging independence and confidence in learning
What We're Looking For:
* Experience working with SEN children (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or related needs)
* A Level 3 qualification or relevant degree is desirable
* GCSEs in Maths & English (C or above) required
* Patience, resilience, and a passion for supporting children with additional needs
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
