5-6 months contract with a Local Authority
Job Summary:
• We are seeking an experienced Oracle Financial Systems Specialist to assist with various critical tasks related to Data Migration, Archiving, SQL Report Writing, Procurement Management Chain, and defining roles and associated privileges.
• The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in these areas and be able to work efficiently in a local authority environment.
Key Duties/Accountabilities (Sample):
• Lead and manage data migration activities to ensure the successful transfer of financial data.
• Implement and oversee data archiving processes to maintain system integrity and compliance.
• Write and optimize SQL reports to meet business requirements and provide actionable insights.
• Support procurement management processes, ensuring alignment with organizational and financial systems.
• Define and manage user roles within Oracle, ensuring appropriate inherited privileges are established.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand system requirements and provide expert advice on Oracle Financial Systems.
• Perform system testing and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation of Oracle applications.
Skills/Experience:
• Proven expertise in Oracle Financial Systems, particularly in data migration and archiving.
• Strong experience with SQL report writing and optimization.
• Familiarity with the Procurement Management Chain and associated systems.
• Demonstrable experience in defining user roles and privileges in Oracle Financial Systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience working within a Local Authority or public sector environment is highly desirable.
Additional Information:
• This role is full-time: 36 Hr/week.
