You will be part of the Digital Delivery Team who work in Customer and Digital Services and collaborate with service areas to develop and deliver digital products that benefit the organisation and our customers.
About the job
Your role will be to assist in the roll-out of SharePoint to Service Areas across the Council. You will be required to analyse and review data and business processes to make improvements in those areas. You will be working with teams during their implementation, preparing them as they move away from shared drives to SharePoint Online.
You will work with Service Areas to identify which data should be migrated, eliminate outdated or duplicated data, and ensure that the appropriate retention schedules are set. You will be central to the coordination of activities during this process.
While the focus of this role is to support the migration of data to SharePoint Online, you will also be involved with the wider Digital Delivery Team on projects that support Cardiff's Digital Strategy.

The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge and experience of working with cloud-based tools such as SharePoint Online and the wider Office 365 suite of products.
You will have the ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships with a wide range of teams and stakeholders.
We're looking for individuals with a professional manner, proven organisational skills, and excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in plain language to reach a wide audience.
You will have a sound understanding of delivering digital projects and the ability to prioritise workloads to produce work of a consistently high standard.
This role is pivotal in the implementation of digital services and initiatives throughout the Council and contributes to shaping the way in which services are delivered.
