We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Executive to work on a full time permanent basis. The successful candidate will work closely with the planning department and the external sales team to maintain and improve a comprehensive service to our existing and potential new customers.
Principal Accountabilities
1. Providing a co-ordinated point of contact and liaison between customers, external sales, production, & planning.
2. To work closely with external sales representatives and nominated customers to provide a dedicated one-to-one service.
3. To co-ordinate new price enquiries from specific existing customers.
4. To input sales order data on computerised systems and process order acknowledgements, advising clients/planning of any discrepancies or potential issues.
5. Coordinate the setting up of ‘First Customer Order’ meetings where applicable in conjunction with the external sales representative.
6. To liaise with all relevant departments in respect of customer complaints and action/feedback accordingly.
7. To provide assistance with sales management, undertaking research, statistical analysis, and ad hoc report writing as requested.
8. Detailed knowledge of products and services.
9. Other functions will include:
1. Progress chasing
2. OTIF Reporting
3. Basic estimating
4. Stock control (Including sales of excess stock lines)
5. Machine loading
6. Management of obsolete specifications & tooling
10. Deal with customer queries (pricing, lead times, etc. and amending deliveries).
11. Process purchase orders for buying in finished goods as and when required.
12. Advise customers of late delivery, order shortages, or delayed orders and confirm with transport over the course of the day.
13. Liaise with estimating, planning, and transport/despatch on a daily basis regarding customer order queries.
14. Take customer cold calls and coordinate the process to accounts and through to quotation.
15. Provide cover/relief for Estimating & Design and all other areas where relevant training has been provided.
16. To undertake other roles and tasks as requested that are commensurate with the level and function of this post.

5. Good understanding and knowledge of RPL products/packaging industry.
6. Flexible with the willingness to learn company systems, policies, and procedures.
7. Excellent Microsoft skills, particularly Excel.
