The CLF Post 16 Academy is currently searching for Teachers of a range of Community Languages to join them on a casual basis to provide preparation of the exam and lessons (virtually) to a small group of students studying for Community Language A Level in addition to their main studies. Some of the languages that are popular within our student community are Arabic, Urdu, Bengali, Spanish, French, German, and Italian. We welcome the full range of expertise across all community languages to support our students with this gift of being bilingual and thus support their extended programme of studies at A level.
The CLF Post 16 Academy is situated in South Gloucestershire, hosted at John Cabot Academy, and serves the students of Bristol across two local authorities. We are a centre of education for ages 16-19 offering a range of level 1, 2 and 3 vocational courses and a full breadth of A Level qualifications.

Safeguarding And Pre-employment Checks
The Cabot Learning Federation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This role has significant responsibility for ensuring safeguarding practice within the academy. This role involves working with children on a daily basis and is therefore in regulated activity.
The successful applicant will, in accordance with statutory guidance, be subject to a comprehensive pre-employment checking process including references from current and previous employers, health, right to work in the UK, and a child disqualification check. The checks will also include an enhanced DBS check and a further check against the appropriate barred list.
