We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Revenues and Benefits Control Team Leader Officers to join our successful team.
This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working, and a salary of £44,355 - £48,446 per annum.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Revenues and Benefits Control Team Leader to join our Revenues and Benefits team.
The Role
Working in our Revenues and Benefits Team, you will report to the Revenues Service Lead.
Your Role Will Involve
* Providing effective leadership to the Revenues and Benefits Control Team ensuring that all required statutory returns, across both service areas, are completed accurately and submitted on time.
* Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the Council Tax and NNDR databases.
* Manage the Revenues and Benefits year end reconciliation and annual billing process. Ensure accurate bills and benefit award letters are produced in line with legislation.
* Oversee the work of the property inspectors.
* Administer the document management system.
* Being able to communicate effectively and courteously with members of the public and other council departments in writing, by phone, or in person.
What We Are Looking For
* You will have extensive experience of administering Council Tax, Business Rates and Benefits preferably on the Capita Academy system.
* Be familiar with the requirements of statutory government returns, across both Revenues and Benefits.
* You will be able to produce clear and concise written communication recognising the requirement to support both the wider Revenues and Benefits team as well as colleagues within the wider corporate team, particularly Finance.
* You will have the ability to meet challenging deadlines.
* You will be able to provide effective and visible leadership to the team, work as part of the team and also on your own with minimal supervision.
