Hourly Rate: Training rate £12.50 per hour, once completed £13.50 per hour

Taylors Snacks is a renowned name in the food manufacturing industry, known for our commitment to quality and excellence. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Technical Department as an Entry-Level Quality Controller.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain your first step into the industry and build a solid foundation in food manufacturing processes and quality control functions.
Key Responsibilities
As a Quality Controller at Taylors Snacks, you will:
* Conduct quality control inspections on finished products at the required frequency.
* Perform equipment inspections, environmental monitoring, and process control checks on the factory environment and processes.
* Inspect incoming raw materials and document quality control checks.
* Communicate and report any out-of-specification processes, materials, or finished goods, and maintain records.
* Manage non-conforming products to prevent their use.
* Prepare samples for analysis.
* Print, verify, and control product labels.
* Audit the factory environment and site standards.
* Collaborate with operations and the wider team to ensure compliance with food safety, legality, and quality standards.
* Follow work instructions, HACCP, Food Hygiene Standards, and Health and Safety Standards.
* Complete all paperwork accurately, legibly, and accessibly.
* Maintain attention to detail.
* Perform industrial cleaning as scheduled.

Requirements
