Main duties of the job
As an Advanced Social Worker, your goal is to represent standard practices while striving for continuous improvement within the organisation. This involves a multifaceted approach that includes person-centred care, accurate record-keeping, risk management, safeguarding, supervision, leadership, and adherence to policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
With a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience in a social care setting, you should demonstrate extensive professional development since qualification. Holding a DipSW level qualification or its equivalent, along with Social Work England registration, is essential.

Job responsibilities
The community team for people with learning disabilities is an integrated health and social care team who support adults with a learning disability, including offering day services and respite care. Social workers work closely with colleagues from health, harnessing a strong person-centred approach to promote choice and independence. They work to support adults with learning disabilities to maintain their independence in the community, and to help everyone reach their potential in life.
