Family/Adolescent Safeguarding Social Worker
Overview of the Role
As a Family/Adolescent Safeguarding Social Worker, you'll be a crucial advocate for vulnerable individuals and their families. Your mission is to support them during challenging times, find solutions to their problems, and improve their future outcomes. You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring that those in need receive the necessary support to live more independently. Your responsibilities include conducting assessments, providing guidance, and making informed decisions based on professional judgment. Your work will directly impact the lives of children, adolescents, and families.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Conduct interviews with individuals and families to assess their unique situations.
2. Collaborate with other professionals to create comprehensive assessments that meet specified standards and deadlines.
3. Offer information, support, and guidance to empower families.
4. Organize and manage support packages tailored to individual needs.
5. Liaise with external agencies and make referrals as necessary.
6. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings related to child protection or mental health.
7. Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for legal purposes.
8. Provide evidence in court when required.
9. Engage in training, supervision, and team meetings to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Salary and Benefits
1. Salary: The annual salary for this role ranges from £33,024 to £43,421, with an additional £7,000 Market Forces Supplement (grade and salary subject to experience).

Key Requirements for the Role:
1. SWE registered
2. Must have completed your ASYE
3. Full UK driving licence
