Job Title Accounts Payable / Expenses Clerk Accountability Accounts Payable Manager Location Colwyn House, Colchester Salary Up to £23,000 dependent on experience Overall purpose of the job To process the company’s expenses / invoices in line with company policy & legislative requirements and all other accounts payable related duties required by the manager. Main Duties and Responsibilities • Contributing to the smooth running of the company’s Accounts Payable and Expenses function • Ensuring Expenses / invoices are correctly authorised in line with company policy • Checking and coding employee expense claims / invoices • Communicating with employees to enforce company policy • Inputting invoices / Expenses on the system • Understanding and resolving invoice discrepancies and supplier queries • Using Excel spreadsheets for importing multi-site invoices • Managing multiple mailboxes • Supplier Statement reconciliation • Filing, scanning and ad hoc duties as required Key Skills and Experience Essential • Willingness to be flexible and assist the team when required • Attention to detail • Ability to interpret and apply company policy • Ability to work with minimal supervision • Genuine team player with can do attitude • Ability to work quickly and accurately to meet deadlines • Ability to manage, plan and prioritise workloads • Confident, articulate and adept in obtaining / challenging information • Good written and spoken communication skills Desirable • Working knowledge of Accounts Payable The Finer Details We are currently conducting some interviews using video software.
