I am looking for a senior engineer to work for a company in the Maidenhead area. 3 days a week onsite, 2 days remote.

Key Responsibilities
1. Be accountable for design decisions for new and existing application development, proactively escalating issues and seeking assistance to overcome obstacles.
2. Lead medium and large sized projects.
3. Guide, train, and lead less experienced engineers.
4. Collaborate with Architecture and DevOps teams to evaluate tools, processes, and technologies.
5. Partner with Product Management to consult on solution feasibility and high-level effort estimation.
6. Prepare and provide project status and risk assessments to their manager with appropriate levels of detail to ensure that programs stay on schedule.
7. Make recommendations for technology adoption and framework improvement, analyzing trends, patterns, and best practices for software.
8. Serve as the evangelist and custodian of technology, architecture, and product.
9. Actively develop software solutions for company products.
10. Perform testing to ensure systems meet documented user requirements.
11. Use a disciplined approach in an Agile environment to assist in analysis and determination of preferred solutions to technical challenges.
12. Troubleshoot, test, and validate software issues; resolve issues with due urgency and maintain thorough documentation of all software solutions.
13. Compile test results to provide data for use in solving problems.
14. Perform engineering level tests to find defects; troubleshoot and debug development and production issues, collaborating with QA Engineers to develop optimal product test plans.
15. Work with Product Owner to clarify and estimate feature work.
16. Work with QA Engineers to develop optimal product test plans and resolve new feature issues as QA finds bugs during release stabilization.
Qualifications
1. Experience designing, developing, and maintaining software applications in a software product development environment.
2. Expert in all of the following: .NET and C#, SQL, JavaScript Web Frameworks (e.g., Angular), ASP.NET MVC.
3. Proficiency with the Microsoft Visual Studio IDE and the use of Azure DevOps or Jira.
4. Experience serving as a technical team lead preferred.
5. Experience with Agile development methodologies.
6. Experience working on public cloud native applications with experience with the following: AWS, Azure, Infrastructure as a Service, Docker.
7. Highly motivated self-starter with a desire to help others and take action.
8. Requires strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical terms.
9. Ability to independently work as a contributing member in a high-paced and focused team.
10. Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with competing deadlines.
11. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure.
12. Ability to socialize ideas and influence decisions without direct authority.
13. Collaborative in nature with a strong desire to dig in and learn independently.
