About this role: We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to undertake general warehouse duties in our Swindon site, we are looking for someone who can help us achieve an efficient, cost-effective warehouse and distribution centre and enable us to provide excellent customer care. Warehouse Assistant, Job Responsibilities: When looking at the responsibilities can be broken down into the following: To pick orders, balance speed and accuracy such that no errors are made, and orders are picked at a speed, which causes no delay to the rest of the warehouse process. To check orders, balance speed and accuracy such that no errors are made, and orders are checked at a speed, which causes no delay to the rest of the warehouse process To pick various multi drop or customised testing orders with 100% accuracy To keep forward bins stocked so that stock is always available to supply against shipments Maintain bulk including location records in order that any member of staff can locate any product or component immediately Advise the shop-floor Supervisor of low stocks of selling lines which have stock available for internal make-up Draw from bulk the exact number of correct components required to complete make-up kits and packs Assist with the collation of stock to ensure sufficient packs and kits are always available covering forecasted sales for min of 3 months Manage stock levels so that as required perpetual stock count can be completed and all information recorded with 100% accuracy and at no delay to end customers Skills and experience required: To be considered for the role of Warehouse Assistant, we are looking for someone who has worked in both picking and packing environments and has a great understanding of how a warehouse operates and are able to work as part of a team as well as independently.
