About the job you're considering
You will be joining a growing and exciting profession of 100 Business Analysts (BAs) ranging from apprentices starting out on their careers to BAs with many years of experience with different clients, all of whom work together to deliver value for our clients, whilst continually sharing knowledge and expertise. This is a hybrid role, depending on where you are based, you will be expected to work from our offices located in either Telford or Worthing on average 2-3 days per week. This can change as it depends on business needs.
Your role
1. Work with business stakeholders to define their requirements, translate these into user stories, and define acceptance criteria.
2. Have responsibility for working with solution architects and other technical subject matter experts to deliver an end-to-end solution which meets clients’ requirements.
3. Play a pivotal role in projects as part of a multi-disciplinary agile scrum team.
4. Be highly customer focused and responsible for building stakeholder relationships.
5. Understand industry trends, look for new opportunities for work within your projects, contribute to proposals and drive innovation which will increase client value e.g., use of Generative AI to enhance business processes.
Your skills and experience
1. Working on user-centred product or service development projects.
2. Working in a technical environment. Comfortable working closely with solution architects and other technical subject matter experts supporting technical requirements.
3. Defining business process changes.
4. Working in a multi-disciplinary agile scrum team, facilitating, and supporting the end-to-end delivery.
5. Supporting and developing other BAs through activities such as mentoring.
6. Working on projects in the Public Sector or other legislative driven sectors such as Utilities, Energy, or Pharmaceutical.
7. The use of ALM Tooling.
8. Incorporating a sustainability mindset into solutions.
Your security clearance
To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements. Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality. Some posts are restricted to sole UK Nationals for security reasons; therefore, you may be asked about your citizenship in the application process.
