This is a full-time or part-time permanent role with hybrid and flexible working options to suit your lifestyle.The RoleYou will be responsible for: Leading a variety of complex and engaging audit assignments across multiple sectors, liaising with managers and partners as needed. Preparing audit files, conducting audit planning, and leading or assisting with fieldwork. Supporting and training junior team members on audits, reviewing their work, and assisting with work allocation. Ensuring high-quality completion of audits within agreed timeframes and budgets. Supervising and reviewing jobs completed by less experienced team members. Using accounting software to generate accurate reporting for managers, directors, and clients. Preparing statutory accounts and finalising accounts under the guidance of your line manager. Preparing corporation tax computations. Keeping abreast of technical knowledge related to the industry and economic issues. Assisting with service and product pricing, including contributing to new client quotes. Building productive working relationships with colleagues and clients. Developing and applying your technical expertise through on-the-job training. About YouWe are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes: ACCA/ACA qualified or nearing qualification. Minimum of three years' UK audit practice experience, with some exposure to accounts preparation. A university degree (preferred) with at least a 2:1, or a minimum of three A-levels (grades A, B, B or higher). Familiarity with Xero, Sage, Caseware, and CCH software (preferred). Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills. Proficient in IT, specifically Excel, with the ability to quickly adapt to new software packages. A proactive, positive, and confident attitude. Ability to create a lasting positive impression with clients and colleagues. Skilled at prioritising tasks to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality output. A self-motivated team player who enjoys working in a structured, standards-driven environment.
