Responsibilities · Assisting the Facilities Manager with the day-to-day running of the facilities department. · Scoping and collecting quotes for approval. · Raising purchase order requests. · Booking vehicles in and delivering for maintenance and repairs. · Ordering and/or collecting essentials such as lunches, stationary and consumables. · Ensuring kitchens are stocked with consumables. · Liaising with and supporting with contractors both off and on site. · Maintaining accurate records. · Taking and sending meter readings to electric company. · Monitor, assign, update, resolution of internal ticketing system. · Assist with compliance checks, Fire alarms, emergency lighting etc. · Fleet management, utilities, waste. · Assist with office moves, to include tasks such as building furniture. · Perform other duties as required. About You Skills and competencies Essential · Experience with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) · Strong attention to detail. · Ability to be an agile thinker and work in a reactive work environment. · Ability to think outside the box to find appropriate solutions. · Able to manage priorities. · Able to drive company vehicles. Desirable · Experience in a similar role · Experience working within a facilities or maintenance team Personal Attributes Must be a British Citizen or have an existing right to work in the UK Ability to hold Security Clearance – 5 years residence in the UK Excellent problem-solving ability.
