What you'll be doing;
Provides indirect management of the maintenance technician only but is responsible for the maintenance of the mobile plant machines.
Oversees maintenance-related training and inductions while ensuring compliance with HR/ER processes
Ensures site team compliance with health & safety policies, including isolations and risk assessments
Manages site visitors, contractors, and external stakeholders to maintain site rules and processes
Exercises high level of autonomy in implementing operational improvements within company policies
Contributes actively to budget planning for operational and mechanical maintenance efficiency
Participates in site leadership team activities, including inspections with clients and regulatory bodies
Maintains regular communication through multiple channels (in-person, digital) with various stakeholders for maintenance planning and coordination
What we're looking for;
Proven experience in mechanical equipment fault finding and maintenance
Basic electrical maintenance knowledge preferred but not mandatory
Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
Exceptional attention to detail and precision in work
Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility in approach to tasks
Proficient in using maintenance management software systems
Holds Level 3 NVQ in mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification
Computer literate with good IT skills; electrical engineering qualification beneficial but not required
