Description Building upon the work that was undertaken in the NEP/NZT FEED to support the H2T FEED, working with the design, delivery, and Client teams to ensure the requirements from the Environmental statement, DCO and other associated commitments are met, together with implementing the environmental aspects of the SHE Management System To lead the Contract Environmental function, provide Environmental solutions and enable the Contract Leadership / Operational Teams to implement the SHE Management System. To build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders, whilst providing an independent and objective view of Environmental Performance on the Contract. Responsibilities Develop and provide line management to direct reports and liaise with wider SHE Team Support and Influence Contract Leadership Team, Clients and other Stakeholders and compliance with the SHE Management System (Environmental Management System) and Contract Performance, identifying risks and ensuring mitigation is in place and effective. Support the contract team in applying for and managing compliance with environmental permits and consents. Liaise with and manage relationships with the environmental Regulator (EA, Local authority etc). Support the DCO process, collaborating with the design, construction, and client teams. Ensure delivery of training and coaching, by competent individuals, to allow the contract team to successfully implement the SHE Management System Be actively involved in the appointment and ongoing assessment of the Contracts Supply Chain Contractors Actively support the delivery of the annual Contract and Group SHE Objectives Develop & implement a Contract Environmental Assurance programme to ensure compliance with company and statutory requirements. Ensure all unplanned events and assurance findings are categorised, investigated and lessons are shared in accordance with the SHE Management System Timely reporting, analysis and use of Environmental data to support and influence the Contract Leadership Team and where required develop and implement data-based improvement plans Qualifications Demonstrated Environmental related experience Experience on large scale oil and gas project Environmental permitting experience Relevant Degree or equivalent (NVQ Level 6) Experience of managing and training others Variety of contract/ sector requiring different skills/ knowledge Development Consent Order Managing contaminated land/ waste
