Facilities Engineering Multi-Skilled Technician

About the Role
At NPP, we currently have an opportunity for a multi-skilled facilities technician to join a well-established facilities team. This role involves supporting non-core engineering and operations, ensuring the effective maintenance and operation of essential utilities and building systems. A strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering is essential, with experience in HVAC systems considered an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform hands-on maintenance and operation of utility equipment and control systems.
* Maintain and service pipe systems and equipment, including steam, heating, cooling, and waste management.
* Carry out planned, reactive, and corrective maintenance, while reviewing planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules to optimise efficiency.
* Conduct root cause analysis to improve plant and machinery performance.
* Ensure all work adheres to health, safety, quality, and environmental (HSQE) standards.
* Use CMMS to track and manage maintenance activities.
* Respond to callouts as per safety and operational procedures.
* Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients.
* Support minor project work as required.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
* A strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering (experience with HVAC systems is beneficial).
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance procedures.
