A Principal Ecologist is required to support, lead and develop a regional ecology team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ecologist to support a team and develop the business in an area of interest. You will join a regional close-knit team and work for a person-focused organisation.
You will lead on projects whilst managing a team of junior Ecologists. You will be responsible for developing staff, writing detailed reports, and reviewing technical work. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the future of the business and support its growth plans; you will be involved in the tendering for work and meeting with clients to generate new work.
To be considered for this role you will have:
* A minimum of 8 years relevant experience
* Proven fieldwork and report writing experience, plus experience reviewing others' work
* Two or more protected species licenses
* Ecow experience
