This job is brought to you by Jobs/Redefined, the UK's leading over-50s age inclusive jobs board.
About the role
SZC is owned by two shareholders, EDF and HMG, through NNB Holdings Company (SZC) Limited. The shareholdings will change over time. The shareholders will fund SZC until Financial Close, focusing on designing, financing, constructing, commissioning, operating, maintaining, and decommissioning the Sizewell C nuclear power plant in Suffolk, including related activities like hydrogen, air capture, and desalination. The current development phase aims to secure the Capital Raise Plan, complete equity and debt raises, finalize core supply chain contracts, and obtain necessary permits and licenses.
Previously part of EDF's Nuclear Development business, SZC is transitioning to its own organization capable of delivering a new nuclear power plant from investment to decommissioning. The project is based on replicating Hinkley Point C's technical and commercial model, with EDF as a key nuclear capability provider.
Key stakeholders include the UK Government, relevant departments, EDF, investors, regulators, partners, and local communities.
