Due to the evolving needs of our service a new role has been created for an administration assistant to cover the Children’s Therapy Service (CTS) Central and West locality. You will support all three therapy teams of Children’s Speech & Language, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy. You will be initially based at Leyland House, Leyland Business Park, Centurion Way, Preston. The needs of the service will dictate your base however, you will be given your place of work on a Rota basis. You will have free parking on site at Leyland House and at our Adlington Clinic.
Our service provides vital care for children needing support. CTS plays pivotal role in a child’s development and well being. You will be the first point of contact for care givers and professionals who refer into the service.
With a demanding workload in a busy office environment your duties will include but not be limited to administration tasks including; processing referrals, booking appointments electronically, taking calls, liaising with the clinical teams, coordinate activities to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided.
You will have administration and clerical experience. Your application must demonstrate proven experience of working with the public preferably in a health care or clerical setting.
The post holder will provide a comprehensive administration and information service across the Adult Community Network, coordinating their activities with other members of the Business Administration Team to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided.
The post holder will be aligned to a specific team and is required to work flexibly in response to the needs of the Networks administrative service providing cover to departments on various sites as directed by their administration line manager to ensure continuity of a quality service provision.
