Exciting opportunity available for an experienced Security Supervisor, who will work at our client’s vibrant estate Telephone House, situated in a prime position along Leonard Circus, providing fully fitted contemporary workspaces in the heart of Shoreditch.
The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy-going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. You should be able to deal with complaints and give accurate information.
A customer-oriented previous experience is essential.
Position: Security Supervisor
Pay rate: £14.82 per hour
Shift Pattern: Mon to Fri 0800-1900 x55 hours per week
Location: Telephone House, 69-77 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NW

Must have:
* Valid SIA licence (CCTV & DS)
* Proven work experience as a Security Supervisor or Team Lead - min 1 year
* Robust leadership and supervision skills, adept at inspiring and efficiently managing teams.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary.
* Maintain a high standard of personal presentation.
* Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance in order to ensure team effectiveness and availability.
* Profound problem-solving and decision-making capabilities to analyse intricate security issues and devise effective solutions.
* IT literate - Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
Duties:
* Management responsibility as well as training and development of 3 officers
* Supervise daily security team operations, ensuring efficient task completion
* Always conduct yourself in a professional manner
* To provide a point of contact and information centre to staff and visitors.
* Respond to emergencies
* Deal with conflict in an appropriate manner if required
* Write up incidents to the standard expected by Management
* Carry out ID checks
* Be vigilant to the Health and Safety risks
* Excellent communication skills to all levels – verbally, written, phone and by security radio
* Can work effectively as part of a team or can work on own initiative
* A positive attitude to dealing with people and taking on challenges
* Operate CCTV and access control systems (training provided)
* Experience in working with MyTAG is beneficial but not essential
