A leading law firm is seeking a Private Client Paralegal to join its growing team in Leeds on a hybrid basis.
This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to support a diverse range of private client matters and contribute to delivering exceptional client service.
Role Overview:
As a Paralegal, you will work closely with the Partners and fee earners in the Private Client team, assisting with a variety of tasks including managing probate matters, preparing wills and supporting the preparation of estate accounts.
You will play a key role in maintaining excellent client relationships and assisting with the smooth management of private client cases.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supporting with straightforward probate matters under supervision
2. Submitting Trustee Act Notices
3. Assisting in the preparation of estate accounts, including bank reconciliations
4. Drafting basic Wills, Deeds of Retirement, Trustees' Minutes and Resolutions
5. Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney
6. Handling initial inquiries from third parties and processing payment requests
7. Conducting Land Registry searches
8. Attending client meetings and conducting research as required
Key Attributes/Skills:
You will have:
1. A strong understanding of private client law and the ability to work independently with supervision
2. Excellent drafting skills and legal research experience
