Position Overview:
The Head of Operations will oversee the entire operational framework of their catering business, ensuring that all services are delivered with the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a passion for luxury service, and a proven track record in operations management within the hospitality and catering industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operational Leadership: Develop and implement operational strategies that enhance service delivery, improve efficiency, and maintain the company’s reputation for excellence.
* Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
* Event Coordination: Oversee the planning and execution of events, ensuring seamless logistics and exceptional service at every stage.
* Supply Chain Management: Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes to ensure the highest quality ingredients and materials are used.
* Budget Management: Develop and manage the operational budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards.
* Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality assurance protocols to uphold the company’s luxury standards in food, service, and presentation.
* Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for staff and clients.
* Client Relations: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded and contribute to the development of new service offerings.
Experience:
* Proven experience in operations management within the catering or hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury context.
* Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of developing talent.
* Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
