Agricultural Planner – Diss – £37,000 - £44,000 – Excellent Benefits
The Job:
A leading agricultural organisation is seeking an Agricultural Planner to manage the production planning of Turkeys, Ducks, and Geese within their operation.
Responsibilities include:
* Planning bird placement, transfers, and long-term slaughter schedules for all poultry.
* Planning egg sets and hatch profiles for ducks.
* Estimating and allocating feed requirements.
* Ensuring compliance with legislation, farm assurance, biosecurity, and customer requirements.
* Identifying and resolving supply chain issues.
* Keeping farm management informed of all planning schedules and changes.
* Working with the supply planning team to meet bird specifications.
* Collating quarterly and annual data for reporting.
* Analysing historical performance data to improve forecasting accuracy.
* Supporting farms administration and technical tasks as required.

The Candidate:
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Good written and spoken English.
* Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
* Analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Organised and able to manage multiple tasks.
* Full driving licence.
* Previous experience in poultry production, management, or a similar role.
The Package:
Salary: £37,000 - £44,000 per annum (depending on experience).
* 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (08:30am – 17:00pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break). Flexibility required during peak times.

* 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays.
Although based at the Redgrave site, occasional travel to other sites may be required for meetings and team events.
