Mental Health Support Worker
West Cumbria | Day & Night Shifts | 36 Hours per Week | 12-Week Temp to Perm | £12.30 per hour

We are currently recruiting experienced Mental Health Support Workers to provide dedicated 2:1 support for an individual with complex needs, including Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) and an Eating Disorder.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver holistic, person-centred care within the clients home environment
Support with daily living tasks, mental health needs, and meaningful engagement activities
Promote independence and facilitate community participation
Monitor and report on both physical and mental health indicators
Work in line with care plans, risk assessments, and medication procedures
Maintain clear and accurate records, and assist in crisis situations under the guidance of a Registered Mental Health Nurse.
Ensure dignity, respect, and safeguarding are upheld at all times
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience working in mental health care settings
Ideally experienced in supporting individuals with complex trauma, self-harm, Dissociative Identity Disorder, and Eating Disorders
Good understanding of the Mental Health Act and working within multi-disciplinary teams
Excellent documentation skills and a proactive, resilient attitude
Willingness to complete client-specific training and ongoing professional development
