A vacancy has arisen within the urology division for a Band 6 uro – oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist. You will need to be flexible and adaptable with excellent communication and organisational skills and most importantly unlimited enthusiasm.

It is essential that the post holder has a good understanding of the dynamics of team work as they will be expected to work closely with multidisciplinary personnel.
We are a supportive innovative team, who work well together to provide the best possible care for our urology/cancer patients.
This will involve working with the multi disciplinary team both in the clinic setting, ward areas and the outpatient department
The role will involve communicating with patients, relatives and primary care professionals, the wider multi disciplinary team and patients being investigated for urological malignancies and new diagnosis, through to treatments and aftercare.
The role will be predominantly office based with the addition of ward rounds, nurse led clinics and supporting newly diagnosed patients in the Urology Unit and at ward level.
