Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Position Overview:
Due to continued growth, my client are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic and successful team based in Reading. This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to a career-enhancing project, delivering pioneering solutions that will shape the future of infrastructure in the UK.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a variety of water and waste-water projects, ranging from smaller capital maintenance works to large civil new build schemes. You will play a key role in the AMP7 delivery team, working predominantly across the Thames Valley and Thames South regions.

Key Responsibilities:
5. Provide accurate cost analysis and programme evaluation
6. Assess compensation events and variations
7. Engage with risk management processes for schedule and cost
8. Implement Earned Value Management techniques
9. Maintain a customer-focused approach, striving to exceed client expectations
Role Requirements:
10. Currently enrolled and working towards Full Membership of either RICS or CICES
11. Strong understanding or experience in business systems, cost analysis, and project evaluation
12. Appreciation of risk management, sustainability, and health & safety principles
13. High level of integrity and commitment to doing things the right way
The ideal candidate will have Water / Waste-water experience
The candidate must have civil experience
