The purpose of the role is to enable the business to develop and continuously improve the "lean" processes used at Tait to keep our business operating smoothly and efficiently. This role sits within operations with a complementary relationship with our ICT and sales teams, which is vital for developing business processes and enabling the manufacture of high-tech products we produce in a very complex and competitive industry.
The duties of the role will include:
* Development of applications that automate and support business processes.

* Be familiar with GitLab and Rest APIs.

* Troubleshoot issues and help keep our factory running.
* Provide tools and information to assure the quality of our processes.
* Engage in problem-solving, process enhancement, and supporting a lean culture dedicated to continuous improvement.
