About the Role: SET Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant. This role is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with SEN experience looking to make a real difference in the lives of students. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one and group support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs). Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Support classroom activities and ensure the safety and well-being of all students. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student progress. Monitor and report on student progress and behavior. Requirements: Must have previous experience working with children with SEN. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support is desirable. Application Process: Candidates will initially be signed up with SET Recruitment. Following the 12-week working period at the school, a decision will be made by the school on whether to offer a trial period. If successful, there is the potential for the role to become permanent.
