We are now seeking an experienced and results-driven Used Truck Sales Manager to lead their used truck sales operations.
The Role:
As the Used Truck Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing the used truck sales department, driving sales performance, and ensuring the department delivers outstanding customer service. You will oversee a dynamic team, develop strategic sales plans, and foster strong client relationships to achieve business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the Used Truck Sales Department to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
2. Develop and implement sales strategies to grow the used truck business and expand market share.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
4. Oversee the acquisition, pricing, and preparation of used trucks to ensure competitive offerings.
5. Monitor sales performance metrics, provide detailed reporting, and identify areas for improvement.
6. Coach, mentor, and develop the sales team to ensure high levels of motivation, expertise, and professionalism.
7. Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns and promotions for used trucks.
8. Ensure the department complies with all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
9. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.
About You:

Essential Skills and Experience:
1. Demonstrable experience in sales management, preferably within the used truck or commercial vehicle industry.
2. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate.
3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
4. Solid understanding of the used truck market, pricing strategies, and customer needs.
5. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
6. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
7. Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales tools.
8. Full UK driving licence.
