What you’ll do day to day:
* Control the movement and security of all retail vehicles on site
* Maintain accurate and true records at all times when releasing or receiving vehicles
* Ensure cars are fully prepared to the correct standards and customer requirements for delivery
* Accept delivery of all New and Used Vehicles, carry out necessary checks (damage, paperwork, etc.)
* Report any damage or paperwork discrepancies immediately to management
* Conduct accurate and timely appraisals of all retail vehicles taken into stock and arrange required work
* Give direction and prioritise work for Workshop Controller
* Give direction and prioritise workload for Car Valeters
* Carry out regular checks on all used car stock to maintain Approved Used Car standards
* Maintain all Used Cars on display to required standards, including maintaining a weekly log for tyre pressures
* Maintain the photographic ratio of all cars advertised to be above 90%
* All approved Used cars to be prepared within 5 working days
* Maintain demonstrators to the highest standards
* Maintain all showroom cars to the required standards, including maintaining a battery check log
* Make sure all auction cars are available for collection with the required paperwork
