Job summary Treetops is a Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC), and we are seeking to recruit an experienced and highly motivated operational manager to join our small team and collaboratively deliver high standards of care. The SARC provides forensic medical examinations and wrap around care and support for people who have experienced sexual assault and rape throughout Hampshire and the Isle of Wight (IoW). Through referrals from Hampshire & IoW Constabulary and self-referral clients, we support approximately 500 victims per annum, are open 24/7, 365(6) days a year and are staffed by on-call crisis workers and sexual offence examiners. The Treetops SARC service is currently based in Cosham, Portsmouth but is moving to Fareham in April. This post is subject to level 2 Police vetting. Main duties of the job The successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for the overall operational day-to-day management of the Treetops SARC service, assuring the delivery of required objectives, targets, quality standards and controls within resource constraints and a defined budget. In conjunction with the Clinical Lead, Quality Manager, Sexual Health Service Business Manager, and wider sexual health management team, they will be integral in policy and practice development and the planning of future objectives and strategies to deliver local and national targets whilst ensuring our SARC clients are provided with the most appropriate high-quality care. The role will necessitate close communication with the SARC's Clinical Lead and Quality Manager and will require active involvement in some key meetings with, the Sexual Health Service management team, Police colleagues, Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), NHS England commissioners, Home Office representatives and other partner agencies. The operational manager will be the central point of reference for all service users, stakeholders, and all staff of the SARC.
