About the role We are currently seeking a Stores & Logistics Officer to join our team in Crawley. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in handling customer inquiries and ensuring timely order processing. If you possess strong organisational skills, proficiency IT skills, and a proactive attitude, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities: Handling customer requests for materials, sales, and exchange inquiries Meeting AOG deadlines to ensure customer satisfaction Preparing orders for shipment to vendors and customers Coordinating deliveries with couriers for expedited service Performing data entry using Quantum system Maintaining an organized filing system Receiving materials from suppliers and conduct quality control inspections Handling and store aeronautical parts, including electro-sensitive devices Addressing queries and manage rejected parts Packing parts for domestic or export dispatch Maintaining shipping documentation Collaborating with colleagues across departments to ensure smooth company operations You will ideally need the following: Experience in stores or logistics within the aviation industry is preferred, particularly with handling aircraft parts. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Passion for learning and proactive attitude. Valid driver's license. Familiarity with Quantum Inventory system beneficial Forklift/Reach Truck license desirable Hazardous Goods in Transit certificate advantageous Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
