You will play a key role in overseeing civil works for newly built retail units and ensuring compliance with H&S regulations across multiple sites in York, Sheffield, and Cheshire. Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for driving safety culture, managing site compliance, and coordinating subcontractors to ensure efficient project delivery. Key Responsibilities: Oversee civil engineering and construction activities across multiple project sites. Ensure health & safety compliance, conducting site inductions, toolbox talks, and risk assessments. Manage all site health and safety paperwork, including permits and audits. Attend and lead site meetings to provide H&S updates and recommendations. Oversee and manage subcontractors, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Investigate and report any health & safety incidents, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
