We are looking for a motivated Registered Nurse to join our friendly Neonatal team in Walsall. Whether you are starting your neonatal career or are an experienced nurse looking to develop, this is the job for you!
We want an enthusiastic practitioner who is eager to develop their assessment and communication skills in neonatal care. In return, you will be supported by our skilled senior nursing and medical team. Further training will be provided via BCU/Keele University in:
* Foundations in Neonatal Care
* Practice Focused Neonatal Intensive Care Course
You will be passionate about improving neonatal care and enhancing the experience of babies and their families in the neonatal unit.

Main duties of the job
* Able to demonstrate effective clinical skills of a high quality, looking after special, high dependency, and intensive care babies.
* Able to progress clinical skills and knowledge through post-registration academic study.
* Work with families to empower them to become partners in care for their baby.
* Competent in administering medications.
* Maintaining high standards of infection control and prevention.
* Supervision of student nurses and midwives.
* Maintaining BFI standards.

Qualifications
* UK NMC registration.
Experience
* Must have a working knowledge of responsibilities in relation to clinical risk management.
Knowledge
* Must demonstrate knowledge of the role and responsibilities of the post, clinical and non-clinical.
* Awareness of cost-effective use of resources.
* Must have a working knowledge relating to Health and Safety.
