Job type: Permanent, full-time or part-time Working for a dynamic Legal 500/Chambers UK accredited regional team comprising two dedicated restructuring and insolvency partners. The team is principally based in the Southampton office of a large regional solicitors' practice with offices also in Bournemouth and London. The firm has a notable reputation in the commercial work areas of Real Estate, Marine, Dispute Resolution, Charities, and Social Enterprise and Healthcare. The team handles good quality insolvency, restructuring and solvent reorganisation matters (both contentious and non-contentious), including: Section 110 demergers, members’ voluntary liquidations and corporate group simplification; Debt restructuring, including restructuring plans, CVAs and negotiating with stakeholders; Advice to directors on their duties; Contingency planning; Security reviews and enforcement of security; Insolvency appointments; Business and asset sales; Advising insolvency office holders; Procedural court applications; Pursuing and defending insolvency claims; and Advice to creditors of insolvent businesses. A dedicated and enthusiastic additional team member is currently sought. The firm is focussed on finding the right candidate for the team and is therefore flexible on experience level. 1 to 6 years PQE will be considered. Candidates must have some recent post-qualification experience specifically working within a dedicated restructuring and insolvency team (or predominantly on restructuring and insolvency matters). The firm is willing to consider candidates on a full or part time basis and can offer flexibility in terms of working locations (including some working from home).
