Location: Honiton Main Office, EX14 1EJ
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30 am - 5.30 pm
Flexible Working: 1 day working from home each week for admin duties. 4 days at the office with site visits required.
Travel: Vehicle required for site visits, travel expenses (fuel) paid.
About the Role
Are you passionate about supporting communities and improving lives? As a Housing Officer in our Estates Management Team, you will play a crucial role in delivering an effective and proactive estate management service to tenants, their families, and the wider community.
This varied and rewarding role involves directly working with tenants, ensuring they adhere to tenancy agreements, investigating issues, and delivering essential estate management services such as inspections, visits, and meetings. You'll work in close partnership with a range of stakeholders to maintain a high standard of living for our tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to tenants and ensure compliance with tenancy agreements
Conduct estate inspections, property visits, and attend meetings
Investigate housing-related issues and resolve concerns
Collaborate with other agencies to provide effective housing solutions
Prioritise workload efficiently and remain calm under pressureAbout You
We're looking for a confident communicator with strong organisational skills. Ideally, you will have a background in housing or relevant experience, and a Level 3 qualification in housing (or willingness to work towards it). A basic DBS check is required, and a driving licence is essential for site visits.
You'll need excellent IT skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage tasks independently while working effectively as part of a team.
