East Lindsey District Council are looking for a new Senior Communications officer to work across Boston Borough, East Lindsey and South Holland.
Working across our Growth and Delivery areas, and our exciting NPO programme of cultural activity, the successful candidate will provide an effective, responsive, efficient, high quality and professional communications service, including the use of social media, marketing and media relations activity, and focusing on enhancing and protecting the reputation of the organisations.
Key outcomes will include:
Achieving effective and improved communications and engagement between the Councils and their residents, employees, partners, the media and other stakeholders.
Providing an efficient, responsive and professional communications service, which upholds and enhances the reputation of the Councils and establishes brand confidence.
Being part of a forward-thinking communications department which offers professional, up to date and adaptable services.
The creation of innovative communications, campaigns and social media content that help the Councils meet their organisational objectives.
Providing meaningful evaluation on a range of communication activity to inform current and future campaigns, content and communication priorities.
Managing the strategy and output of external marketing contractors within the growth and delivery service area.
Previous experience in a communications or media environment is required, as will be the need to travel across the sub-region for events and meetings.
This position is a shared role within the South and East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership (SELCP) and forms part of the S113 agreement between the participating partnership Councils in accordance with the Memorandum of Agreement 1st October 2021.
