New Opportunity: Chief Technology Officer Location: Cheshire/North-West Working Arrangements: On-Site, move to flexible working Salary: DOE A hugely up-and-coming client of mine is looking for a capable, committed and hungry candidate, ready to take on the management of internal and offshore technical teams in their SaaS product in Retail. With growing international clients, and constant business evolution, this role will be responsible for maintaining swift, scalable and efficient output from developmental teams on the company’s bespoke application. They are looking for someone capable of scaling up, handling huge retail clients and tailoring solutions with consideration and efficiency. Core Responsibilities Include: Define and lead the company’s technology vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives and longterm growth goals. Oversee the endto-end product development process, ensuring that products are developed efficiently, meet business requirements, and are delivered on time. Manage and optimize the output and performance of offshore development teams, ensuring alignment with company standards, timelines, and quality requirements. Ensure the reliability, scalability, security, and overall performance of the company’s applications and technology infrastructure, implementing secure systems that support growing client needs. Advise and oversee the implementation of bespoke solutions to the needs of large-scale retail clients. Team Leadership & Development skills: Foster strong communication and collaboration across geographically dispersed teams. Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing engineering and development team, ensuring the successful execution of projects. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the technology team. Project goals for hiring, training, and professional development for both end users and development teams. Client Communication Skills: Work closely with other departments (e.g., marketing, sales, customer support) to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements. Act as a liaison between technology teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear communication of project goals, timelines, and deliverables. Support sales and business development teams by providing technical expertise during client engagements and presentations. Support the leadership team with providing informed pitches, client visits, the development of business goals and smooth implementation of product The successful candidate must be a self-starter, confident and committed to their teams performance and business outcomes. They will have excellent communication and professionalism, and MUST have relevant experience in Retail, Supply Chains or SaaS to apply.
