We are looking to hire an Associate Solutions Engineer for our Dundee office who can provide customers and sales staff with technical product advice during pre-sales discussions. You will perform detailed, online technical deep-dive demonstrations, promoting product features, answering audience questions, and clearly ascertaining the prospect’s needs and requirements.
You will assist in developing business value propositions around N-able's products and solutions and contribute to accelerating their usage and consumption.
What You'll Do
* Perform basic installation and configuration of network management products, system and application monitoring products, and security-related products
* Assist sales reps in offering guidance on product identification
* Provide prospects with basic troubleshooting and other online remote assistance during the product evaluation cycle
* Perform basic troubleshooting techniques on all N-able products
* Identify product-specific areas for improvement to enhance the evaluation experience and conduct online technical demonstrations remotely
* Escalate product issues, customer feedback, and feature/functionality requests
* Utilize online tools to provide pre-sales technical support during the sales process
What You'll Bring
* Basic knowledge of network or application monitoring solutions
* Ability to demonstrate problem-solving and troubleshooting techniques
* Ability to prioritize tasks based on business needs
* A good mix of technical ability and customer interaction skills
* Strong client management skills
* Solid oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; basic presentation skills
* Ability to absorb and retain technical knowledge quickly
* Ideally some experience as a field/networking technician or system administrator in a customer-facing role; prior experience working for or with an MSP desired
