As our new Engineering Coordinator, you’ll be central to enhancing our inventory systems, contractor management, and digital tools. Salary up to £50,000 DOE A Role That Brings Structure and Innovation Together In this role, you’ll lead inventory control and contractor coordination, play a key part in the digital migration of our maintenance system (Fiix), and help create structured ways of working through SOPs and reporting. As part of the engineering team, you’ll work closely with the Engineering Manager, contractors, and other departments to bring structure, accountability, and improvements to the way we manage stores and engineering operations. Your key responsibilities will include: Managing day-to-day inventory needs and stock control, raising POs, and sourcing components Leading the migration and ongoing management of our inventory in the CMMS (Fiix) Coordinating contractor site visits and inputting relevant compliance data into our safety system Supporting the creation and rollout of monthly reports on engineering inventory and spend Assisting with SOP development and conducting internal audits as part of continuous improvement Is this the role for You? We're looking for someone analytical, communicative, and eager to make meaningful improvements in how we manage inventory and engineering systems. Must-haves: Strong IT literacy and confidence working with digital systems (e.g., CMMS, Excel) Excellent communication and organisational skills to coordinate both internal teams and contractors Proven experience in inventory or stock control, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing setting Right to work in the UK Fluency in English (written and spoken) Nice-to-haves: Engineering knowledge or previous experience in a technical environment Understanding of lean principles or continuous improvement processes Location: Grangemouth Working hours: Full-time, primarily on-site Why work at BioMar?
