About the Job The IB is transforming how it delivers technology solutions through the implementation of a new operating model called the Technology Playbook. As part of the new operating model we have created a Product Management department which is responsible for the design and roadmap of our portfolio of products. The Product Management Manager, Artificial Intelligence (AI) sits within the New Product team and is accountable for managing high-complexity and high value digital products within the portfolio aligned to AI technology. In addition, the incumbent will explore potential applications of emerging AI technology to develop new products and add value to existing products whilst tackling complex problems relating to AI integration such as algorithmic biases, data quality issues, and ensuring compliance with ethical standards. This role is a new addition to the IB and a unique opportunity to drive the IB’s adaptation of AI technology within its Digital Product Portfolio. Key Responsibilities Define the portfolio design, direction, roadmap and prioritise features for all digital products, and maximise overall value and ROI (Return On Investment) of the full product portfolio. Translate business needs into product requirements / features, and communicate clearly with business teams to ensure expectations and product understanding are aligned. Lead and collaborate with Engineering and UX Design to drive technology implementation, and ensure business and customer satisfaction goals are met within agreed time frames. Drive customer-centric practices including the capture of early and frequent customer feedback, customer-usage data, and prioritising the end-to-end customer journey as a primary design consideration for our digital products. Continuously track and analyse trends in the education technology sector, competitor activities, and customer needs to make informed decisions that optimise the relevance and competitiveness of the IB’s digital products. About You Extensive Product Management experience with a high value or high complexity portfolio of Products. Proven experience of developing and successfully integrating AI products and technologies. Proficient with AI frameworks and tools and AI model deployment platforms. Ability to demonstrate an understanding of concerns, ethics and implications of AI on privacy and security. Working knowledge of agile and iterative software development processes, methodologies, and technologies. Highly experienced in collaborating with diverse and cross-functional teams, including software developers, UX design and business subject matter experts. Ability to analyse data to derive insights into user behaviour, product performance, and market trends. Familiarity with UX design principles and methodologies to create intuitive and engaging educational products. Confident in making difficult decisions, advocating for the Product, addressing conflicts constructively, inspiring confidence and motivating the team to take risks, innovate, and continuously improve. Knowledge of trends, technologies and emerging innovations in educational technology is a distinct advantage.
