PART-TIME OFFICE MANAGER & FINANCE ASSISTANT – 20 hours per week – OFFICE BASED. Monday to Friday 9:30am – 1:30pm. Coventry City Centre.
£31,000 - £35,000 (Pro rata)
Working part-time (20 hours) for a leading small business you will work to support the organisations within the group to include a financial advisory firm, IT support company and property development business. You will support the Business Manager and Managing Director to ensure the smooth running of the finance and administrative support functions.
Duties to include: -
* All finances for the Group, including invoice payments, payroll, credit control, and processing up to month end. This will be with the support of a bookkeeper and an external accountancy firm.
* Issuing VAT returns across the Group organisations.
* Dealing with utility providers and arranging installations of utilities at premises owned by the Group.
* Assisting with the property development side of the business, arranging and creating credit accounts as required. Also, liaison with relevant local planning departments regarding property developments.
* Assisting to manage and promote the commercial office lettings side of the business including property maintenance support, arranging and hosting viewings for prospective tenants. Assisting in the promotion of the offices across various social media platforms.
* Executive Assistant support to the Managing Director and Senior leaders within the Group to include minute taking at meetings, travel and accommodation arrangements, tax returns.
Who you are:-
* You will have gained previous experience in a busy office manager and finance role.
* Strong understanding of finance up to month end and experience of SAGE.
* Strong skills with MS Excel up to an intermediate level.
* Highly organised, efficient with exceptional attention to detail.
* Experience of working for a small business and getting involved in all elements of helping to run a small business.
* Not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in!
* Excellent team working ability.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
* Experience of social media platforms, including LinkedIn would be advantageous.
* Happy to work onsite, 5 days a week.
