Do you want to work for a start-up on a mission to lead the UK’s transition to a cleaner, greener future?
A company with a vision to build the UK’s most innovative network of clean energy hubs, designed to fuel the nation’s commercial vehicle fleets with low/zero-emission energies, including electric charging, HVO, bio-CNG, and Hydrogen. As part of their continued growth, we’re looking for a talented Systems Product Manager to join their dynamic technology team and play a crucial role in the development of cutting-edge multi-energy recharging and refuelling stations for commercial vehicles.
With transport accounting for 27% of CO2 emissions in the UK and commercial vehicles responsible for a significant portion of that, this company is at the forefront of driving change with low-carbon infrastructure. This is your chance to make a lasting impact on the UK’s energy transition!
The Role:
As Systems Product Manager, you will own the development of the integrated systems platform that powers innovative recharging and refuelling stations. From the design phase to launch and beyond, you will be a key leader in shaping the product vision, collaborating with both internal and external teams, and ensuring successful delivery of a high-quality platform. Your focus will be on everything from EV Chargepoint Management Systems to payments, mobile app functionality, and user experience.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Backlog & Feature Management: Own and prioritize the product backlog, turning business needs into clear, actionable user stories for our development partners.
* Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the key liaison between the business and external partners, ensuring seamless collaboration, contract management, and alignment of product objectives.
* User-Centric Design: Lead user research, usability testing, and feedback analysis to enhance the product experience and drive prioritization.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure all product deliverables meet high-quality standards and comply with UK regulations, in collaboration with the Business Development and Technology teams.
* Supporting Operations: Help prepare for the commissioning of the first hub and provide key support to the wider Operations teams as the company launches new sites.
Ideal Candidate:
We’re looking for a Product Manager with at least 3 years of experience in product management. While experience in EV or logistics would be a plus, we’re eager to meet individuals who bring innovation, a user-first mindset, and a passion for learning. If you have a proven track record of managing the full product lifecycle, conducting user research, and collaborating across teams to deliver game-changing products, we want to hear from you!
* Experience in managing product lifecycles from inception to operations.
* Familiarity with managing contracted software development.
* A Scrum Product Owner certification or similar product management qualification.
Why should you apply?
In this role, you won’t just be building products – you’ll be building the future. As part of a passionate team in a rapidly expanding company, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the success of the UK’s clean energy transition and work on pioneering projects that have the power to change an industry.
On offer:
* A competitive salary and performance-based bonus.
* Health and life insurance for peace of mind.
* 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
* Flexible working arrangements to help you balance life and work.
* Professional development opportunities to grow your career.
