We are seeking an energetic and committed individual to lead our disability programme and to seek out new ways to offer sporting activities to people with a range of disabilities. JOB SUMMARY The post holder will plan, coordinate and implement the disability programme on behalf of the Foundation. The role will involve creating and implementing sessions which are varied, engaging and inclusive. The postholder will ensure that all provision is carried out in line with the Foundation standards, expectations and values as well as having focus on the Foundation’s long term strategic objectives. The postholder will be required to deliver an innovative programme that continues to meet the changing needs and challenges of young people and adults within our communities whilst seeking opportunities to expand the programme provision. KEY ROLES AND REPSPONSIBILITIES Coordinate the disability programme and lead on coordination, planning and staffing of all disability related sessions and events Create and implement engaging and inclusive sessions for participants Support planning and delivery of football based sessions, in community venues, including a PAN disability league and impairment specific sessions Ensure that the programme is delivered in line with financial budgets requirements. Liaise with funding provider (Cadburys) on a regular basis Build strong and positive relationships with a range of partners Undertake appropriate administration duties including participant data/registers Promote an inclusive approach to our programmes and ensure that sessions meet the needs of participants Support with funding applications to support the growth of your programmes and to provide additional offers to young people and adults across our communities Report monthly to Community projects manager Provide quarterly feedback on your programmes including impact reporting Be innovative in creating new opportunities for young people and adults through the programme Collaborate with other department within the Foundation to expand the opportunities available to people with disabilities React to opportunities to develop the programme and be pro-active in growing the programme and engagement in the programme Contribute to the processes of forward planning and development of programmes Seek opportunities for funding and sponsorship and new partners to ensure the sustainability of the programme Demonstrate impact of the disability provision through data collection PERSON SPECIFICATION Essential Right to work and residency in UK Full Driving License UEFA C Licence Introduction to coaching disabled footballers FA DBS FA Introduction to First Aid in Football FA Safeguarding Children Ability to create and adapt sessions to individual needs Excellent communication skills Experience of working with people with a range of disabilities Proven track record in delivering coaching sessions Self-motivated and able to work proactively using own initiative. Ability to lead/instruct others and to maintain a values-driven culture. Exceptional organisational, communication, and teamworking skills Ability to work collaboratively across departments. Ability to develop and maintain positive stakeholder relationships. Competent IT, computer, and mobile technology skills.
