Role Overview As a Vehicle Recovery Driver at Steer, you’ll handle safe transport and recovery of customer vehicles to and from our repair sites. You’ll be a crucial link between our service centers and our customers, supporting our reputation for outstanding, reliable service. Key Responsibilities: Vehicle Collection & Delivery: Pick up vehicles from customers and deliver them to Steer’s repair centers in Ayr, Edinburgh, or Glasgow. Safe Returns: Ensure serviced vehicles are returned to customers on schedule and in pristine condition. Customer Service Excellence: Provide friendly, professional service, maintaining Steer’s high standards. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all legal road safety regulations, including the Road Traffic Act. Site Support: Assist at other sites if needed. Health & Safety: Follow safety protocols, including PPE use and maintaining cleanliness in work areas. Candidate Profile We’re looking for candidates with experience in commercial driving, ideally with vehicle recovery expertise.
